Touchpad, palmrest or casing damage

If the touchpad does not respond or the casing or palmrest are damaged and need replacement.

£24.95 Includes vat Approx Time: 1-1.5 Hours

The process

In most cases a touchpad cannot be replaced on a laptop without also changing the palmrest. This type of repair and also damaged casing repairs can not be carried out at the clients location and must be carried out in the workshop facility.

Lead times

Most laptops have individual casing, palmrest and touchpad parts depending on the make and model. It is likely that the replacement parts would need to ordered in and would be about 48 hours. Bookin the repair early and allowing the parts to be ordered before we take reciet of the laptop will minimise inconvieniance.

Pricing

Laptop parts prices vary considerably. The variance would be from £35 to £95. The average cost of a touchpad and palmrest replacement is approximately £45-£65 including fitting and vat.
